Jo Whiley’s Wireless Tribute Fund
Usually I use my Twitter for small rants etc but this is gonna be a bit longer...
Everyday in work I listen to Radio 1, when Jo Whiley comes on at 10am she has this feature called Wireless Tribute Fund where she gives you 3 clues (sound clips) and you have to guess what they link to. It's quite a fun game and I enjoy playing along, the only problem I have with it is the way in which Jo rewards or punishes (how I see it) people for getting the question right or wrong. If someone gets the question right their reward is to "treat themselves" if they get it wrong they don't get to treat themselves.
Confused? Let me give you an example of what happened on today's show...
Someone phoned in and guessed the question and they said "I hope I got it right, I really want a snickers".
Sadly they got it wrong to which Jo replied "Sorry your wrong, looks like the Snickers will have to wait"
I'm thinking if you want a Snickers just fucking have one! Don't let Jo Whiley tell you what you can't or cannot do! If that was me id be like "You know what Jo, fuck you, I don't care if I got it wrong, ahm huvin ma Snickers so deal wae it!"
P.S. This isn't against Jo Whiley, I love her, shes a great presenter and she knows her music well, live lounge <3
